Rented this studio apartment for two nights for my husband and myself before leaving on a cruise around the islands. The studio was updated, roomy and just right for our stay. We were impressed with the view of the ocean and that the owners left us so many amenities. (i.e. coffee pods, washing machine pods). The ability (which we took advantage of) to wash some clothes with the washer and dryer just outside our door was handy and welcomed. The check in was easy. The location is fantastic with everything in walking distance. Would highly recommend this option to anyone coming to Oahu.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo, which is spacious for an efficiency. The staff, Niko and especially Marta, were very professional & attentive to make sure our check-in went smoothly and our stay was comfortable.

Location is near tons of restaurants especially Asian cuisines, although there is a walk up pizza joint and a McDonalds nearby. Heavenly next door was great for organic, healthy breakfast. Short, easy walk to Waikiki Beach.

The bed is a full size rather than a queen but was adequate for my husband & I. The room was quiet -we did not hear any street noise (maybe and thankfully due to the white noise of the a/c which did rattle a little). The fully appointed kitchen, including a full size fridge & coffee maker allowed us to have breakfast before we headed out if we didn't want to eat out.

There is a reserved parking spot -your vehicle must be less than 6 feet tall because the garage is tight ,which is normal for Waikiki.

No parking fee, no resort fees! All in all, this is a good value - a clean place to sleep and eat while in Waikiki. It is a not a luxury condo with ocean views but you cannot expect that at this price point.

Great location and had everything we needed. The team was great with accommodating our last minute and late check-in. The space was perfect for the week stay for cooking and sleeping in. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again upon our return to Waikiki.
The beach items were a huge plus, as well as reusable food storage containers in the kitchen!

We stayed 12 days at Tropical Studios. The apartment was great & had everything we needed. It was clean & just like the ad. The apartment was close to everything beach, shopping,restaurants. We loved every minute we were there.

This studio apartment was ideal for our stay in Waikiki. It is centrally located with a secure car spot in the centre of Waikiki. The apartment was clean, had a large fridge and a stove. There is also some beach chairs, umbrella, bucket and spade for the kids to use and beach towels. The complex has a swimming pool. The apartment is secure after hours and the car parking spot needs a fob key to enter it. Communication with the owner was awesome. When I booked over a year in advance, Niko connected me to confirm. I am recommending all my friend's to stay at Niko's apartment when they come to Waikiki.

Condo was great. Close to everything.area is noisy but not a problem.condo has easy access.it has everything you need. Pool was great.we will be back.

Had it not been for a couple days of parking issues,we would have given this location a five out of five rating instead of a four out of five. Niko (the owner) did take care of the parking issues we had immediately, but when your tired and just coming in off of a long flight that was one problem we wish wouldn't have happened. The condo itself was perfect for our needs, just the right size with the right amenities including a nice size swimming pool you could actually swim laps in, and was never crowded.. We were also within short walking distance of the beaches to Waikiki. Thanks for a memorable and enjoyable stay!

Firstly the owner met us at the condo on arrival. Really great. Condo really excellent for our stay. Had all the amenities we required and was in excellent condition. Walking distance to Waikiki beach. Shops and restaurants all around the condo. Nice views of the city from our 12th floor. Highly recommended. Would stay there again on our next visit to Honolulu.

The location is near lots of diverse restaurants and high-end shopping. Waikiki Beach is about a 10 minute walk which isn't bad as long as you don't have bags and chairs to carry. It was nice to have a small kitchen to make coffee and a refrigerator for drinks. We were grateful for the free parking which allowed us to leave the car and walk just about every where. The only drawback to this rental is that it really is not comfortable for 4 adults. We had our two teenage children with us and there just wasn't enough room for all of our luggage and to be able to move around the studio.

Stayed for 10 nights in June... easy check in/out process... which is detailed on the pre stay emails you will receive... the pre stay communication really sets the tone for staying here... warm and friendly and everything you need... the room is spacious... clean... nice fresh deco... awesome balcony space... stereo system with smart TV and Netflix... access to pool... but we never used it.... looked nice... had issues with parking (someone parked in our spot) which was easily rectified in a phone call to Agnes... fully stocked kitchen and adequate towels and linen supplied... laundry across hallway eith garbage shoot was very convenient... fellow residents were very friendly... awesome location.. close to everything... and transport to everywhere on the doorstep....all in all a great stay... this will be my first choice for accommodation when i return to Waikiki

First of all, you can't beat the price and the location!
We really enjoyed our stay in the tropical studio. We booked the room via Expedia as a part of a package and didn't know it's a private room and not a hotel. But the check-in was really easy and quick.
The room was a perfect size for two, very clean and modern. Fully equipped kitchenette. We didn't do any cooking, but there's everything for those who want to save a dollar and cook "at home". Bathroom needs a little maintenance but it was good enough for us.
Amenities are excellent beach towels, beach chairs even boogie board, all the cleaning supplies (in case you need it), tv (we didn't use it so I don't know about channel selection), stable wifi and FREE parking. There's also a laundry room and laundry card provided.
The location is amazing- in the middle of everything. Shops, bars, restaurants, rentals, 5mins from the beach. What else do you need?!
I would definitely stay again.

Everything about the unit was top notch. It is very clean. The location is absolutely perfect. The furniture is quite new and very tropical. The bed is comfortable, the views from the balcony are amazing. Wifi worked flawlessly. Every bus route goes right by the door so there is no need for a car although we did use the parking space when a friend came to visit. We loved the sun in the morning and in the afternoon there was shade so we could comfortably have a drink or eat on the balcony. We had a fantastic ten day stay. Our one disappointment was not getting to meet our host, but we had no problems while we were there that needed attention. It was a beautiful unit in an ideal location. Everything that Waikiki has to offer was at our doorstep. We would love to return.

I highly recommend this rental over any hotel. Complimentary parking, Wi-Fi and full kitchen and bathroom amenities. I was not expecting beach chairs and a boogie board but it was an awesome surprise. I loved having the balcony, we hung out on the balcony every morning and night. The location was perfect, walking distance to restaurant and beach. If (hopefully, when) I come back I will 100% stay here.

My husband and I stayed at the studio with two children (10 and 6) for seven days. With the sofa extended bed, the room was spacious enough and comfortable. A few minutes walk to Waikiki and there are many good restaurants around the area. Free parking space is such an advantage in this downtown area. We could see the fireworks at the Hilton Hawaiian village area from the balcony on Friday night. Although we could not meet Nikodem due to our late check in, we had no difficulty communicating with him through emails and phone. Our family had very satisfactory stay at this studio and would stay there again in next visit.

Unit is in great location and very easy to live in, everything works and extras such as utensils, beach gear etc is quality.
Starbucks opposite, as is best phone guy (Larry), he can fix phone issues so easily. Trolleys leave from Galleria just 50 metres away, street noise on 15th floor not too bad, depends what your used to.

My brother and I stayed here for just over a week. We opted for this condo due to the great location, walking distance to everything in Waikiki. Suitable kitchenette loaded with extras like a coffee machine, not that we ever used it thanks to the convenience of cheap breakfast spots around. Free WiFi and most importantly FREE parking. I can't stress how good it is to have your own car here and not have to pay $25/day for parking. Bedding was exceptionally comfy and noise was minimal thanks to our 15th floor condo but its smack bang in the middle of Waikiki so don't expect it to be quiet.

The only downside was making sure we left the place spotless to avoid extra fees on the seemingly already high cleaning fee. We weren't living like grubs but were very conscious about forgetting minor things on the way out as there is a specific set of details to follow on checkout but other than that minor thought this place was perfect.

My husband, teenage son and I stayed for a week and really enjoyed this rental. Everything was bright and clean and well maintained. It was right on the bus line and walking distance to the beach.

Although this was my 6th trip to Waikiki, it was my first time doing a condo rental. I have to admit that I was a little nervous since it was a new experience. My fears were put to rest as soon as I walked in Tropical Suite #1210. It is EXACTLY as advertised. Theresa was very informative and accommodating with our late (delayed) arrival. She met us at the door and showed us around. The condo is fully equipped with EVERYTHING you need....it was truly, our "home away from home". After a day of touring around the island, we came "home" and relaxed. The location is perfect with short walks to shopping, dining, beach and entertainment. We couldn't be more pleased and are already talking about our return for 2015!!!

This studio is perfect! The location of this studio is great, can't ask for much more in Waikiki. The beach is just down the street, a lot of shopping, restaurants and general tourist attractions. Plus if you're renting a car parking is free!

Niko was great in working with us and he's done an awesome job at accommodating guests by providing many things to make anyones stay a pleasant one. Niko even provides accessories for going to the beach, which was very helpful.

I'd recommend this studio to anyone visiting Waikiki.

You really cannot beat the location of this place! Niko really thought of just about everything to make the place like a hotel. Little details like extra movies, a flashlight, coolers, etc were all added to the place. My husband really liked that aspect. Air conditioning, wifi, cable, brand new feel, fridge, stove, and nice bathroom, all add to the ease of the location and overall feel for our vacation. Our only gripe was the front door lock. Had to open and lock the door a certain way otherwise you couldn't get the door open. Niko accommodated us with an early check in and had his friend let us in. So it may have not been communicated to his friend how to open the door. :)

The studio had everything that we needed, It is clean and nice. It also has a parking lot, Wi-Fi, and it is in a very good location. The owner has been very good in answering all our questions and everything went on smooth. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

There is a nice laminated review of the policies and internet code needed for the property and check out instructions. The place looked exactly like the photos with no unwanted surprises. Parking is great! Internet was a little slow but free!

We liked having all the amenities to cook (rice cooker, toaster, blender, pots, pans, etc). However if you want to eat out you are within walking distance to yummy places to eat out. Highly recommend going to Sam's Kitchen to get garlic shrimp for your first day within walking distance. It's nice to also have Ross just across the street to get random necessities and Starbucks just around the corner. The rental was clean, great AC, quiet neighbors.

My only complaint would be the noise. We stayed at #607 and it stays pretty noisy at night due to being in the heart of the city. We especially found the rumbling of the tour buses annoying that likes to stop there. However it is the trade off of being in the heart of the action and if you live in a noisy city like New York it wouldn't be a big deal and we eventually got accustomed to it.

The condo is very well maintained. I was amazed at such a beautiful place being rented for such a low price. There's almost every amenity I'd ever used (and I haven't). The internet is pretty good, the view from balcony is great too. Just a few minutes walk from the beach. Pretty active during night time. Lots of restaurants nearby. Overall, I loved it !!

We booked the apartment with very short notice and both Nikodem and Bozena where extremely accommodating and helpful. The apartment speaks for itself (see amenities listed ). Everything was new and well cared for. The location was excellent. Close to everything! Bed was super comfortable.
Considering your in a downtown hub with tall buildings everywhere we found the balcony great. Sure there isn't a beach front view but there wasn't a tall building facing you either. I would definitely stay there again.

The unit was really nicely furnished. Had a nice LCD HDTV and full kitchen with pots/pans the works. Even included beach chairs, towels, a small cooler, and hair dryer which saved a lot of room when packing. The bed was comfortable and the unit was fine for two people for the week. Not much of a view but who goes to Hawaii to enjoy the view from the room. Price was great and the free parking was a HUGE convenience as parking in Waikiki can be really difficult. I would highly recommend staying here because it feels much more homely then a hotel which helps when you are staying for an extended period of time. I lived in Honolulu for 18 months and knew several people who lived in Waikiki and this unit and building was one of the nicest I had seen.

The apartment was clean with plenty of room for four adults (1 queen-size bed and 1 queen-size pullout sofa). Niko answered promptly any questions we had via phone or email. Nice studio in an excellent location. The main negative was the communication with the host (Niko). The first and only communication between us was one day prior to checkout. We were unable to figure out how to load the laundry card so decided to call Niko to ask how to. Niko’s response (and he made sure to repeat it one more time) was to have me read the instructions on a piece of paper on the table. I ultimately had to ask him if he could just let us know how to (I was not in the room) at which point he finally told what to do. We had read that paper before and it is two long pages (including how to leave the room at checkout) but had overlooked the instructions on loading the card, as we later discovered. On that note, for checkout, one is required to take out the trash, clean the kitchen shelves and rearrange things in the state they were at checkin. (I’m not sure what the charged cleaning fee is for then). Anyways, the entire set of instructions are also listed in the Airbnb listing so make sure to read through all of it and know what you’re getting into, if you decided to book. I guess that’s the difference between getting an Airbnb and a hotel - it’s hard to get the same level of hospitality and professionalism. The studio itself is great.

These hosts were responsible and helpful. And boy is this condo in the heart of Waikiki!! Right with the great shopping and dining and a minute or so walk to the beach. Super fun place to hang out while you’re in Oahu. I recommend this spot!

Awesome location. Great hosts, who are super responsive, and set expectation upfront. Don’t book this if you have 4 people (2 adults, 2 young kids like in our party) if you are from mainland USA. Studio is super small...

Cozy apartment in the very center. One bed and one convertible sofa allow 3 or 4 people to sleep. The instructions were clear and the host is really responsive for any question you may have

The condo was centrally located close to the beach, restaurants (we liked Basalt and Ice Monster) and shopping, and the fact that it came with parking was a super plus for us (most places charge $25-40/day)! The room was very clean with all the amenities one could need, and Nikodem was very prompt and thourough in all his instructions and correspondence. The only cons was what the listing was very up front with, which was the noise: it wasn't really that loud at night (except for a screaming drunk person Sat night), but what got me was the garbage trucks at 5:45-6:30am (since the condo overlooks more storefront venues). The bed was also a little squeaky on one side but I switched with my husband who didn't seem to mind. Other than that it was a very nice stay!

As advertised , walking distance to pretty much everything . Cleanliness was good , instructions were pretty straight forward.

Das beste war der Stellplatz und der große TV. Das Apartment war teilweise sehr abgenutzt und in schlechtem Zustand. Durch die Strandtücher konnte man durchgucken, das Strandzubehör war teilweise defekt. Die Tür zum Balkon schließt nicht, so war es immer sehr laut. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich würde das Apartment nicht empfehlen.

Great place!!!

We booked this place at the last minute, but were very happy with the place. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Check in was a breeze and the apartment was better than expected. So many touches that made us feel right at home and very helpful notes left. The location was spectacular and we walked to many locations and the tour shuttle pickups were right across the street. The beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and cooler were such a nice touch, especially with the beach so close. There was a washer and dryer on the same floor ($2.25 combined) and the host had even left laundry pods. Great value and location without sacrificing comfort and amenities.... I will definitely book again !

Everything was great. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The location and parking were very convenient and Marta was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely book with Niko and Marta on our next trip to HNL!

We had a great stay here! We loved the location - it’s hard to beat - and the free parking onsite was perfect. Hard to find a better deal!!

Good: A small condo within walking distance of the beach and malls. It is on the corner of the building so you get two balconies overlooking the swimming pool. It is noisy at times but if you use a white noise machine at night its fine. The AC is good, elevators are fast, building access is easy. Washing machine and dryer very close by and they work great. Well-supplied kitchen was only missing a high-chair. Bad: The fold-out bed is uncomfortable and the mechanism is almost broken. Cable box stopped working a week before we checked out, host had no solution, we used internet instead. Included parking is convenient but the owner must fix the sewage leak above the parking spot, our white rental car didn't appreciate the rust stains, and I didn't appreciate having to wipe raw sewage from the roof with baby wipes.

Very comfortable bed. Our kids liked the extra beach toys and we loved the beach chairs and cooler. The A/C was very good which I need! Clean space and not far from Waikiki beach. A good value!

Staying at Nikodem's place was perfect! Amazing location, cute island-themed decor, and absolutely spotless. And with parking included! I'd stay here again on my next trip to Waikiki in a heart beat.

The unit is great! Located on the 16th floor, it's clean, modern and you can't beat the location for Waikiki fun. Was able to walk to Waikiki beach and to the various shopping malls easily. Towels, linens were clean and fresh. All kinds of appliances to make meals a breeze. The TV, cable connection, Wi-Fi worked great. The AC takes a little bit of time to cool the room down, but it does do so. I used a fan (also supplied by host) to blow the air around more efficiently. There were a few repairs that I alerted Niko to (bedside lamp on/off switch broken; toilet tank seemed to refill constantly indicating a small leak into the bowl (not onto floor or anything); single-serve coffee maker nozzle seemed to be clogged), but I'm sure he will get these all fixed. Host provided ice trays filled with ice and single-serve coffee pods and all kinds of beach gear. Even though I didn't get to swim in it, I checked out the pool and it seemed very clean. The unit is conveniently near the elevator, but not too close. And the laundry and trash shoot is nearby also. Would have liked to have the parking instructions be more customized for this unit (it's different than the other units in the building listed by Niko). I'm sure he'll get that fixed also. Would most definitely recommend this unit!

Perfect stay! The location of Niko's apartment is excellent. It's within easy reach of loads of bars and restraunts in Waikiki and the beach too. The apartments parking allowed for easy exploration of the whole island (which is a must!) and was plenty comfortable with air-con, wifi, towels and beach gear. Niko was a perfect host and a question or query was always met with a fast response from either Marta or himself at any time of day as well as easy instruction on arrival or departure if they aren't able to meet you personally. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and if you want an easy base to be able to explore the island from then this does the job perfectly. Mahalo Niko!

Big plus: Private parking. Everything else just basic and a bit overpriced for what you get. Very loud as already mentioned in description, especially on the weekends.

This place was great! Just what we needed and more! The cleanliness and location were superb! You can tell that Niko and his wife enjoy being hosts and definitely put effort into the place. Everything was as said and beyond! Definitely would return to this little slice of heaven.

Nokodem’s place is very well located in the middle of the hottest point in Honolulu, near to several stores, shopping malls and restaurants. Is aldo very close to the beach, walking distance. The parking is a nice plus, since you are very well located. Also, the place is extremely clean, excellent bath! Five stars recommendation :-)

Prime location with easy access and parking. The balcony and view were great and had everything we needed plus some. Would stay again. Excellent value.

Nikodem's home is conveniently located at the center of waikiki near all the shops. Check in was very easy as the instructions were easy to follow. It has all the amenities you need ie. Kitchen, coffee, fridge. There is parking underground and the elevator is right beside it making it convenient to carry luggage and beach items after a long day. I also used the coin laundry which is located on each floor. One day the water was shut off for a couple of hours and we were not aware of this so we went to the pool restrooms to shower on the 4th floor. Other than that mishap, it was an excellent stay and I would stay again. Thank you!

This room was perfect for a 7 night stay! There are plenty of amenities provided, I even asked about an additional snorkel set and it was provided to us for free! The room is quaint and clean. This is not a beach side condo, so do not expect that. Sure there is noise as you are in the heart of Waikiki, but during our stay it wasn't anything unbearable, we slept just fine. The staff communicates quickly with you if you have any questions. I would highly recommend this location and would absolutely stay here again!

Ottimo appartamento in ottima posizione. Si trova a fianco del viale principale, nelle vicinanze si trova tutto quello che serve (banca, market, ristoranti) e in 5 minuti a piedi si è a Waikiki beach. Il parcheggio privato è sicuramente un punto di forza. La sera si accede alla hall solo con il cip e durante il giorno per accedere ai piani occorre la chiave quindi ottimo dal punto di vista della sicurezza (la zona è comunque davvero centrale e tranquilla quindi lo dico solo con plus non perché vi siano problemi). L'appartamento è un monolocale con bagno e antibagno. Nel locale principali si trovano l'angolo cottura, il divano con un tavolino, un tavolo per 3 per fare colazione ed il letto (non enorme). La pulizia era ottima (ringraziamo Agata che è stata davvero gentile). Siamo arrivati prima delle 11 a ci ha consentito di lasciare le valigie in camera e di posteggiare l'auto.

Near beach and a lot of shopping. Good location!!

The location and view were great. The mattress for the pull out couch was fine. The one for the bed so so. The shades were not black out so you have to get up early, but he said that will be fixed soon. The AC Unit took awhile to kick in but once it did it was fine. It just felt overpriced.

Great space and location. Easy to get around Waikiki as well as easy to navigate to other areas by car or tour bus. Very clean and well maintained.

Highly recommend staying at Niko's place. It's a great location, a short walk to Waikiki Beach and lots of restaurants, stores, other amenities. The place itself is super clean, has one bed and one sofa bed. Communication was fast throughout the process and the check-in and check-out process is really straight forward. Having parking included in the Waikiki area is a bonus as well!

This condo couldn’t be in a more perfect location. It’s walking distance to the ocean, shops, and great restaurants. It was very clean and they had beach towels for us to use. They left laundry detergent to do a load of laundry which was a nice touch. Would stay here again!

Location great, clean, simple/easy check in. I actually reserved this for two friends, as I had another Airbnb nearby. This apartment was soooo much easier to check into. I loved the nostalgic rattan furniture that really gets you in the mood for Hawaii. Vintage looking place that was sparkling clean with modern amenities and a great air conditioner! My friends loved it. Food nearby (Starbucks next door), and the parking place was fantastic! I'll be checking out this place next time I come to HNL! AMAZING location! Nikodem’s place is within 5 minutes walk to Waikiki beach, many malls and restaurants, so we could buy anything we need very easily. The free parking slot was great as well. Finally, Nikodem and Marta were very responsive hosts. This was our first time in Hawaii, and we felt lucky that we picked this place!

The location is great and super convenient. Born and raised on Oahu, we were familiar with the area. For those who aren’t and are considering this location, I can attest to some of the intangibles. It’s near the beginning of Waikiki coming from either Kalakaua or McCully, so you don’t get caught in some of the hectic Waikiki traffic, if you were say deeper in. It’s closer to the Kuhio side. Some people may say that it’s a bit shadier than the Kalakaua side, which isn’t inaccurate. But it allows for easier coming and going, because Kuhio has two-way traffic. The area is generally safe, and onsite parking with elevators from the garage straight into the secure building make it extra safe. Good food really close by - walking distance to a bunch of food halls (Yokotcho, international marketplace, and Alley come to mind). And if you’re coming and going, again, the on-site parking cannot be beat! Check-in was a breeze. The unit itself is on a high floor, and you have a decent view from the lanai that includes both ocean and mountain views sandwiching the Waikiki skyline. The room is spacious enough to move around and the room amenities are unbeatable as well (fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, kitchenware, etc), and some thoughtful touches with snorkeling and watersport gear waiting for the guests in the closet.. perfect for the short stroll to Waikiki beach. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Nikodem's place is situated perfectly. It is located in the heart of Waikiki. It also has a free parking which is a plus for us. They also provided us a crib for our infant, beach chairs, snorkeling mask, beach umbrella and towels. Pretty much what you need for the beach. I would recommend it.

If you want a place that is conveniently located to everything you will love this place. It was perfect, had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. What I enjoyed most about it was the view from the balcony and that it was only a few steps away from the beach, shopping, and restaurants and best of all free parking. Just to visit that area you are looking to easily pay $25 or more a day for parking. Renting this location will definitely save you some money. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great location in Waikiki. Everything you need is within walking distance. It was a little crowded for me, but it’s easy to drive to less populated areas. We wished the pool was open later and that the room was a little cleaner, but all in all we enjoyed our stay very much!

Great location and the free parking and beach gear is a real plus. Walking distance to the beach and there is a great view of the water and city off the balcony. The bathroom appears recently redone but the rest of the unit is a bit old. Very functional, clean unit but no frills.

The location was amazing. We never had to walk more than a few minutes to get to one of the great eateries on the island. Waikiki Beach is only a few minutes away walking distance, and the studio came with lots of beach accessories to use during your stay.

They were very nice, easy to get in touch with, and let us check in a few hours early. My boyfriend and I had stayed at this same hotel last year and the location plus amenities were just so perfect that we decided to come back.

This location is ideal. You will be centrally located and walking distance to all kinds of shops and restaurants as well as access to the beach. The free parking space is a tremendous value if you plan on exploring the rest of the island and making day trips. It is not that noisy, as stated in other reviews. If you run the air conditioner and bring some earplugs you will be fine. Great place!

I feel I am lucky to stay in this good accommodation. The accommodation's location is perfect for the traveler. You can easy to go to shopping and anywhere if you stay here. The check-in information very detailed so I can easy to find the accommodation and easy to check-in. Also, the host Nickdem responds very quickly and passionate so I feel relieved and happy to stay in here. We really like the convenience of the building. We stayed in Seaside many times. The positives about this place is the parking and the AC is new, not noises. Unfortunately this place was by far the worse Airbnb we stayed in Waikiki. The apartment wasn't as the listing stated: "NICELY UPGRADED ! " It was NOT. Original from 1968 and not in a cute way. The curtains were old, dusty and with full of wholes in it. Carpet has stains all over.. We didn't need to use stove or microwave. The coffee maker, was too old, we preferred to walk to get a nice cup of Hawaiian coffee somewhere else. Please provide your guests with a Bathroom mat and anti slippery mat inside your shower. Renewing your bath towels, and your bed sheets is a must. You need to lower your rate or update this apartment. I miss the Airbnb days were staying in someone's place had a welcoming feeling.

Nikodem’s location and amenities made my first trip to Hawaii very affordable and comfortable. I was able to walk to most restaurants and shops around Waikiki. And for days I wanted to venture out, the secured parking spot was a huge plus. Another huge bonus is the safety of the apartment— it takes a key to open the apartment complex and to get into the elevators/select a floor making the place very secure. I also really appreciated the fact that the unit was very clean upon check-in. I’ve been to a lot of hotels/Airbnb’s on beaches that will still have sand on the ground but Nikodem’s unit was very clean! Communication was easy! Although I did not make use of the kitchen, I know that this option is significant to some so having it available was great. Nikdomen and his team have all been very pleasant and goes above and beyond to make sure they’re guests are welcomed and taken care for. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this unit!

Good location, right in the center of everything in Waikiki. Niko is extremely efficient in responding to your requests. He has all the instructions well written in advance. It’s a great place if you are spending most of your time outside and need a nice cozy place to crash in the evening or night.

The suite is exactly as stated. It's located in a very central part of Waikiki and if you plan on doing any trips, or even renting a car, it doesn't get more convenient. The beach is a short walk away. The suite itself was bigger than expected based on pictures as well. The street outside can be a bit noisy, but based on the location this was expected. Having a parking spot and a pool in the building was a massive perk. Overall, couldn't have been happier with the unit or with the responsiveness of Niko.

Niko's place was in an awesome location for a great value! The reserved parking spot was key. The studio can be loud in the evenings as expected, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The shower was leaking so Niko had a plumber come to fix it during our stay. Overall, we would recommend this place.

The condo is a well-located and equipments in it are fulfilling daily usage. Niko is very timely helpful when we ran into a tiny issue. A strong recommendation for those who are seeking a base for Waikiki activities.

Would recommend staying there as it’s close to all of what Waikiki has to offer, the night life, beach life, the adventures. Noisy area, we love it, feels alive to be there.

The location is really great. So closed to the shopping center and duty free shop. Nice place to stay. When we check in on the first day, the building manager is also nice to help us and show us the parking area and parking entrance. BTW, too many one way roads in this area, please use the navigator in advance to guid you there

The place is located right in the heart of everything. It is clean, good parking space & most importantly it was priced well. The 12th floor view was magnificent. The only drawback was a leaking shower and the bed is queen sized. The airconditioner wasnt that cooling at first but suddenly it did so no problems there. May be we needed time to acclimatize. The kitchen was clean & equipped. Marta (sweet helper) was so prompt. The swimming pool on 4th floor was also good. I would highly recommend living here for a relaxing vacation.

Nikodems place is very centrally located. There were nice touches like beach chairs, boogie boards, an umbrella, and beach towels. Nikodem is very accommodating and great with communication. We needed to check in a bit early and contacted them last minute (not expecting to actually be able to check in) and we were contacted shortly after allowing us to check in early. Would definitely reccomend staying here.

生後5ｶ月の息子と､家族3人で4泊しました｡立地も住み心地もよく､ｺｽﾊﾟ抜群でｵｽｽﾒです｡ 立地はﾜｲｷｷのど真ん中に位置しており､ﾜｲｷｷ周辺はどこでも徒歩圏内｡ﾜｲｷｷ外れのﾎﾃﾙに滞在するよりもよっぽどｱｸｾｽが良いです｡買い物して疲れたら部屋に戻って､という形ですぐ部屋に寄れるのは子連れにとても有難かったです｡ 住み心地もとても良く､写真通りの清潔さ｡虫も居なかったです｡お風呂にはﾊﾞｽﾀﾌﾞもあり､ｼｬﾜｰﾍｯﾄﾞも固定式じゃなく使いやすい｡ﾀｵﾙも､ﾊﾞｽﾀｵﾙ5枚ほど､ﾋﾞｰﾁにも持っていける薄手の大判ﾀｵﾙ4枚ほど､と沢山｡洗濯機&乾燥機が各階についているので､着替えを洗濯するのもとても便利でした｡ﾍﾞﾋﾞｰﾍﾞｯﾄﾞや､電気ﾎﾟｯﾄ､ｷｯﾁﾝ用品も一式あり､ﾐﾙｸや離乳食の子供でも快適に過ごせるかと思います｡ちなみにﾍﾞﾗﾝﾀﾞからは遠めに海も見えますよ! ﾚﾋﾞｭｰにあった屋外の騒音は全く気にならず(18階だからか?)､しいて言えばｴｱｺﾝの音が少し気になったくらいでしたが､生活に支障はなかったです｡ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞが少し沈みやすく柔らかいので､硬め好みの我が家にとってはそこだけが気になりました｡ wi-fiも高速､駐車場も無料､この立地と住み心地でこの値段｡とにかくｺｽﾊﾟが良すぎるので絶対ﾘﾋﾟｰﾄします! I stayed here for four nights with my husband&son(5months). Location was perfect and very comfortable. It is locate on the center of Waikiki so you can go anywhere by walk around Waikiki. The room was very clean and comfortable as shown in the picture. There was a bathtub and shower head was hand held type. It was very helpful that we can use a baby crib, an electric kettle for our baby. Also, you can see ocean from lanai! I didn't feel noisy about outside when I was sleep (air conditioner was a little bit noisy but it wasn't big problem). If I’m forced to say, the bed mattress was too soft for me. Wi-fi was very fast, free parking, great location, comfortable room, the host were very kind & quick response, thank you Nico&Marta! Highly recommend it!

Niko’s place was a perfect home base for our stay in Waikiki! We would highly recommend to friends. Super convenient and within walking distance to all the great food and shopping options nearby. The included parking spot was a huge bonus that saved us $30/day compared to nearby hotels. We also enjoyed the large balcony with partial views of the city, mountains, and ocean. Check-in was smooth, and Niko was quick to respond to the only minor snafu we encountered during our stay.

We stayed for 4 nights at Niko's place.. and we like everything about this place. It's close to everything.. The place is clean, the bed is good eventhough it's a little bit small for 2 people because it's a full size. The sofa bed is comfortable. There's a coffee maker and a toaster also. The bathroom is a little bit small but very clean. We love the high pressure shower head. There's a small space where my wife can put all of her 'stuff' there. And the plus thing is a free parking space.. which is very hard to find everytime we rent a place in Waikiki. The only suggestion is to rearrange the position of the bed. Because the air conditioner is blowing right to our face. Other than that.. the place is great. Thank you Nico..

Its a gem of a place in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of downtown. The USP is its parking spot. We were traveling with an infant and this place in being 15 mins of walking distance of the waikiki beach and the mall and great downtown restaurants was indeed a blessing. Free parking spot allowed us to conveniently take out our car at our convenience. It was 30 mins from the airport. The hosts were very supportive and have us the playpen. Our son enjoyed the view from the balcony. Although, you need to be careful. We didn’t make use of the pool but we found people lounging at the pool when we passed by. The only little hiccup we had was the management turned off the water on the last day we had to checkout and though they left notices in elevator we didn’t realize until late and had to scramble a lot for scavenging water in pots and pans, especially with our little infant in tow., but we managed. A little advance notice from the owners would’ve helped, especially since you don’t tend to pay notice to every single detail when on trip. All in all we had a great stay, the place was well worth just for its convenient location and a resourceful host.

Die Wohnung befindet sich mitten im belebten Zentrum von Waikiki und es ist trotz 12. Stockwerks mit Lämbelästigung zu rechnen. Abends bis ca 22:00 Uhr Musik vom Lokal neben an und Morgens Motorengeräusche von diversen LKW`s. Wen so etwas stört, der sollte hier nicht herziehen. Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen groß genug, ich denke aber wenn das Klappsofa ausgezogen wird, könnte es für 4 Personen eng werden. Innenausstattung ist wie beschrieben und sauber, es hat alles gut funktioniert, die Klimaanlage war sehr leise, W- Lan hat gut funktioniert, die Kaffeemaschine wird mit Kapseln betrieben. Zusätzlich waren 2 Beachstühle für den Kompford am Strand vorhanden. Hervorzuheben ist der kostenlose Stellplatz in der Garage, da es wohl unmöglich ist in dieser Gegend einen Parkplatz an der Strasse zum Übernachtparken zu finden. Um mal eine Woche den Trubel von Waikiki zuerleben, was sich wirklich lohnt, ist diese Wohnung ideal.

Was nice and clean and felt homey for the week we stayed. Was great to have amenities such as boogie boards, beach towels, chairs and umbrella. True to the posting it is a “lively” area so there is some street noise. A great location to shopping and minutes from Waikiki beach. Hosts were readily available when we had questions which was appreciated. I will recommend to friends and family in the future. :-) Sabrina

Everything was so organized. Nikodem really made check in easy with the instructions sent to me beforehand. The airbnb was really close to everything and I could just walk down the street to get something to eat. Waikiki beach was only a 5 minute walk. The use of a fob to access the parking garage and to use the elevator gave me a strong sense of security. I would definitely use this same place when I come back someday!

My partner and I had a great time during our stay at Nikodems place. The communication was super easy and quick. The place looks exactly like it does on the pictures and is very clean and tidy. The area is very conveniently located to everything you need in Waikiki and so close to the beach. We would absolutely recommend to staying here!!

The location was great! Free parking was a PLUS. Having that free parking spot saved us a couple hundred dollars. All the shops and restaurants were walking distance. Not much street noise. We slept through the night. When the a/c is running it blocks out the street noise. Waikiki beach was about five minutes walking distance. We did self-check in and it was a breeze. Easy instructions. Clean condo. We had a pretty great view too. Beach equipment like towels and chairs are included. And many more. WiFi was pretty decent. All other check in and check out instructions were easy to follow.

Nikodem’s place is better than advertised. It was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. I would totally recommend his place to anyone looking to stay right in the middle of Waikiki without the resort prices. The included parking and beach supplies were an added bonus.

Great location, walked to the beach and many restaurants. Called host and he picked up right away. Pack and play was delivered to room within 30 minutes. Lots of towels. Free parking spot was a huge savings. Huge windows had blackout blinds, which was really nice for my sleeping toddler. I was able to watch Friday night fireworks from balcony on this floor, not from this room's balcony. Most of the show (the higher fireworks) were quite visible. The lobby of the building smells like the crab restaurant downstairs. The room was fine and had no odor.

Just want to mention a couple things about the condo that other reviewers didn’t. I hope it helps someone in making their decision. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the funky smell which we thought it will go away if we opened the windows, well unfortunately it didn’t it stayed with us for the whole time. Second they diluted the soap with water, which was gross. Also very loud at night, garbage trucks and other vehicles from hotel across the street. With all that said the good things-free parking, close to the beach, beach chairs, towels and umbrella.

Nikodem’s place is literally in the heart of Waikiki. I read a review about it being outdated and I believe they were talking about the stove, which honestly is in perfect working condition. This place is. A studio perfect for a family of four or even a couple. Hawaii is expensive so being able to cook and have all necessary items to be able to make food minus the food helped our budget. Beach chairs are provided, cooler, umbrellas... etc. Includes free parking!! I will definitely stay in Nikodem’s place again when I come back. Thanks for having us Nikodem!

This is a in great location in downtown Waikiki. Walking distance to the beach, shopping, and dining. This place has the bonus of parking which is right next to the elevator that takes you right to your front door. This makes it very easy for loading and unloading luggage, shopping bags, etc. It can be a bit noisy with sounds of the city, so ear plugs may be required for those who need more quiet to fall asleep. Accommodations were adequate, we didn't need anything in addition. The fridge was not sized right for the space it's in so the door catches on the cabinet. The pool was okay, but really only has sun for certain times of the day due to shadows from surrounding buildings, but again, the place is walking distance to the beach. Nico was very accommodating and replied quickly. If we ever need to stay in the city again, we wouldn't mind staying here again. Mahalo

Just spent a couple nights at Nikodems Airbnb and loved it! The place was clean and exactly as described. Location was outstanding. It is such a huge perk to have free parking too. The noise on the street did not bother my husband and I. If you love city life, you’d be ok and be able to tune it out. If not, earplugs would be a good idea to take with you! I thought the beach chairs, towels and cooler was a nice and thoughtful touch. We will definitely be back every time we visit Waikiki!!!

Great location to most of Waikiki - right in the middle of the action with tons of activities, restaurants and beaches. But with that comes the noise of the strip, and I would agree even on the higher floors, the street noise was still audible. Not a huge impact on my stay for me personally but perhaps the host could consider offering ear plugs for guests. Otherwise a great experience and great value for your stay!

Great location in Waikiki area surrounded by plenty of food and shops. Free parking is a plus although parking spots are tight. Place was clean with plenty of cooking equipment. Decent inland view but no beach view. Waikiki beach is only a 5-10 min walk away though. My only issue was that as a corner apartment, it can get loud from the traffic noises. Worse though is the wind howling when there’s high winds. I suggest bringing ear plugs since we had to buy some in order to get better sleep from the noises.

Enjoyed our stay--location is a huge plus. Lots of good eating options nearby (Japanese food court and musubi place on Seaside, local cafe next door, Basalt and other options in Duke's marketplace on Kuhio to mention a few). Consistent internet access and good hot water and water pressure in shower were better than what we had at other places in the past. Adequate dishes etc for the 3 of us though we did not try to cook. The Queen mattress was OK, not super firm if you need that for your back. Beach towels and boogie board came in handy. As expected there is street noise but we had no problem getting to sleep since that largely dies down after 10:30. The location and the parking space that is included are what you are paying for. Hosts are very responsive.

This place is very nicely located in Waikiki, a very central location. The view was amazing. However, the apartment was a little cramped for four people and that was to be expected. Niko is a great host, the stay was super convenient. Checkin was great. Overall, I recommend this place as an excellent location and great value.

ROSS dress for less and Nordstrom RACK were within a block each direction. HEAVENLY CAFE is next door and was good. Starbucks is across the street, and the beach just blocks down the road. Only think I did not like was the smells from the crab restaurant in the lobby area, though it was always crowded and is probably good.

Nikodem’s place was just as expected and more! We booked extremely last minute and check in was a breeze! Great location! In the center of shopping and restaurants and just a couple of blocks walk to the beach. The place had everything you needed, multiple towels and linens. The beach supplies were a great plus to the stay, we didn’t need to go out and buy anything but food! I would definitely stay again.

A nice place close to evdrything in Waikiki. There is everything that you need for cooking or the beach and the parking was great. It might get little bit noisy in the evening. Host is great and very responsive. I would recommend staying there.

Fantastic stay, neat and tidy! Close to the beach, within walking distance! Beach was fabulous and the beach chairs came in handy! In the heart of Waikiki, Surrounded by night life festivities. Lots of shopping, from high end to street vendors where you can barter. Center of entertainment and lots to do! On a side note, we wished there was more than one washer and dryer per floor.

Great location and included parking is a big plus. The bed was comfortable which was important. The decor and furniture is old and outdated. The refrigerator's motor was running loudly 2/3 of the time, and the door's magnetic seal was torn. Ear plugs were helpful for the street and refrigerator noise. Air conditioner made noise, but that is true for all hotels. There was a big flat screen TV, but we didn't use it. If the stained carpet and loud refrigerator are replaced, it would greatly add to the value of this centrally located unit.

I would have to say that this was a quiet place to relax. I needed a place to stay and relax for the night and this was the place. It looked exactly like the pictures that were posted. They had all the amenities. It was very clean. It is a very secure building going in an out. I loved this place and would definitely stay again.

Overall, we had great time. It was a decent place. Very neat & clean... However, we had some issues...that we didn't like....hopefully, the host has fixed them for future guests... 1. Shower handle kept falling. It scared my 4 yr old a couple of times. 2. Bath Tub drainage was so slow. Water would get logged during bath shower. It would get cleared automatically. But very slowly. 3. Matress kept sliding 4. Pillow covers were too short to cover the pillow. 5. My 4 year happened to pick up small scraches few times with the glass table top. It would be nice if that's made or replaced with something that'ahild 6. A mat in bathroom would have been more handy...

Very nice place conveniently located right in Waikiki beach in walking distance to many beaches and stores. Laundry in building is a huge plus, as well as the kitchen in the unit. The parking space was a bonus and money saver. Easy check in and check out. The place also has beach chairs a cooler and beach towels which was an awesome touch, if you’re a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend as the city is kind of loud at night, didn’t understand the 100$ cleaning fee seeing as we had to clean and take our own trash out.

This was my first time ever trying out an air bnb and I absolutely enjoyed staying here during my vacation. Nikodem was very helpful and gave clear instructions. Place is located in Waikiki with many restaurants and stores close by and the beach was about 10-15 min walk away. I thought it was so convenient to have a parking spot. The mornings and evenings were time spent in Waikiki while the rest of the day I was traveling all over Oahu. Place was very clean. I liked that there were extra towels / beach towels for guest to use. I would definitely come back here for my next trip to Hawaii.

This is very good place for a short stay in the middle of all the action. Location makes it easy to enjoy all that Waikiki has to offer without a car, but if you need to go anywhere and you do have car - it is really easy to get out - parking space is really a great idea in Waikiki. It is a bit noisy so if you are planning for early shut eyes, this might not be the place for you.

Great location for Waikiki. A few steps away from Heavenly cafe and Musubi Cafe Iyusame, Crackin' Kitchen, coffee shops, short walk to ABC store. It was a little noisy, but I was still able to sleep. No ceiling fan in the bathroom, just FYI. AC worked well. Cute studio with a decent sized refrigerator, small microwave and oven. Bed was kinda wobbly, like it swayed a little when we got on it, otherwise comfortable enough. Nice TV. Night stand with a lamp at the bedside that has an outlet, convenient for charging my phone at night. Small closet with hangers was also a plus. We booked this place because it has a parking spot, which is on the 3rd floor in a corner. The 2nd to last spot facing away from the building, not covered so don't leave your windows open. It rained a bit while we were there. if you suck at parking, don't get a big car because it was challenging with an SUV. Would still be challenging with a smaller car just because parking is tight. I would stay here again.

This apartment was just what we needed for our weekend stay. Nikoderm was very communicative throughout and on the day of check in. We were able to self check in. We loved that a convenient parking spot is included with this rental. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen and closets were well stocked with enough beach and regular towels for 2 of us across multiple days. Also the location and proximity to shops and restaurants in heart of Waikiki can’t be beat!

It is a very nice appartment, and a good location to explore Waikiki. But be prepared for quit busy and noisy enviroment, like Nokodem tells in his informations. Very good for a couple of days.

If you want to experience the heart of Waikiki, Niko’s is the place to do it!!! Niko and Emilie were extremely helpful and had great communication throughout my trip. They even accommodated my early check in. I feel very lucky to have found this peaceful haven in such a hectic place!!! Can’t wait to come back :)

Pros: Great location; walking distance to Waikiki beach, shops, restaurants. Not as noisy as I expected that was a plus. Beach umbrella, 2 beach chairs, and plenty of beach towels. Shared laundry room, 3 tide pods were provided. Parking was secured and free! The other amenities listed were provided. I left a couple of items in the refrigerator after check out and Niko was prompt in getting me back into the condo to pick them up. Cons: Loud AC. It took a while to find a temporary place to park to pick up the fob to the parking garage and the key to the condo. It's helpful to have someone come along. One person can drive the car around the block while the other person can pick up the fob and key.

It’s a very nice studio with everything you ask for, the picture is what you will expect, towels, shampoo, conditioner, beach accessories, the air conditioner is very noisy if you are a light sleeper, they have some construction going on when I was there but you are in the center of the city, the beach is a few blocks so you can walk and pick up a cup of coffee in your way there plenty of coffee shop including Starbucks, there is a several restaurants along the beach where you can get a really nice breakfast (before 10 am they can seat you bye the pool or in front of the beautiful beach....) After a long day on the beach you comeback to the apartment to relax a few hours, shower, dressed to go out and enjoy the night life that the city had to offer, restaurants, shopping centers, bars, dancing clubs, coffee shops.....you can find within walking distance great places to eat, drink, relax, spas and beauty salon......everything is right there.... If you wan it you can cook yourself there is everything you need in the studio and several marketplaces where you can find from regular and organic food..... The place is very well maintained with pool too, huge washer and dryer in the same floor... Nikodem has a great place with great location, he doesn’t bothered you they have sheet where they explain to you everything...really simple, easy access and very secure place...

Clean, bright and spacious studio centrally located in Waikiki. Niko replaced the old saggy mattress with a brand new one half way through our stay! Now a super comfy bed!!

Our stay in Waikiki was too short. Nikodem's condo is in a nice location, it is in a busy area which makes for fun shopping and great dining. The parking space is an added bonus. It was very clean and we appreciate the beach chairs and umbrella. My only suggestion is that there be a fan, the small air conditioner worked but it was not enough due to the heat and humidity. A fan in the condo would be great!

Das air bnb hat eine perfekte Lage. Zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten am Waikiki beach und Bushaltestelle um die restliche Insel zu erkundigen sind nur 2 Gehminuten vom air bnb entfernt. Das air bnb war sehr sauber und entspricht den Bildern. Nikodem war sehr hilfsbereit und hat auf fragen immer schnell geantwortet. Kann das air bnb nur empfehlen und würde immer wieder kommen.

The apartment was clean, well appointed and in a great location. major downside was the bed - broken on one side meant it was extremely uncomfortable and my partner slept on the sofa instead. Niko's communication was dreadful and didn't respond to any of my questions or return my calls or emails about check in times.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this unit. The checkin and checkout process was easy. Its location is perfect ! The beach is 2 blocks or a 5 minute walk. The Royal Hawaiian Center, on kalakaua ave, with nice shops and ambiance, is also 2 blocks away. It was enjoyable to take strolls after dinner along kalakaua ave as there were street performers providing entertainment. There is even a 'village' of Japanese restaurants a block away. A specialty restaurant Crackin Kitchen is on the first floor of the apartment building and we enjoyed having seafood dinner there complete with apron and gloves !!! The free parking that came with the apartment was superb and convenient for our vacation itinerary. The maintenance person at the lobby desk (forgot to ask his name) was helpful. The host Nikodem was very accessible and we were able to contact him by phone and text. Highly recommended and would stay there again!

Fantastic place to stay. The location is central to everything-- beach. shops, restaurants, bus stops. etc. The place is well equipped with a kitchenette, refrigerator, stove, and kitchenware. Nice big screen tv plus Netflix. There were beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel masks, & cooler available to use for the beach. The bed is comfortable and there is cool AC. The unit is in a secured building with a fob needed to use the elevator, pool. and garage. Free parking spot is a plus( didn't use it as we didn't rent a car). We will definitely stay here again!. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about this rental. The entire process from booking to check in to check out was so easy. The unit was just as advertised and Nikodem was an amazing host. It is in the heart of Waikiki! In the middle of all the food places and markets. 20 min walk to Waikiki beach and there is Kuhio beach around the corner. Very nice place and all of the amenities that was included is a plus. Pots, pans, and rice cooker all included and made our stay very useful. Especially the rice cooker. Place is clean and as described. Included parking is very convenient. Also beach items provided was a very nice and useful touch. Location is optimal and located near main sites like restaurants and shopping. Didn't really walk much to beach but it was nearby. Downside was some neighbors directly next door were noisy at night and can hear them talking loudly. Sofa bed was a little outdated and was said to be somewhat uncomfortable but still usable. Access to a mini kitchen and dishes was a plus. Also there was soap and plenty of towels.

This is a little gem with a great view and a location that is central to everything, and within walking distance. Beach, restaurants and night life are all right there! Nikodem is a great host with very clear directions for everything from parking, to check in.

Convenient location for our visit- 13 min drive to U of H campus, close to downtown and beach with restaurants and shopping. A few blocks away from the most heavily trafficked tourist area so not as crazy. Several reviews mentioned sound- we heard amplified street pop singing about a block away but they shut down at exactly 10pm so did not disrupt sleep for us. Secure building and reserved parking made a huge difference. Excellent host- very detailed instructions and very responsive.

Nikodem’s apartment was great for my three children and myself. Central location in Waikiki, close to restaurants, shopping and very safe. His kitchen was stocked with all we needed to eat in, and his arrangements for checking in were convenient. Both the bed and pull out couch are comfortable, and the air conditioning kept us all cool after spending days out in the sun. I’d stay here again.

Great place! If you are looking for an apartment accommodation, I would highly recommend. We had been to Waikiki before and weren't keen to pay for resort style prices as we were only there a few nights. Niko's place was as described, awesome location, free parking and a pool. This place is great! I really enjoyed my stay and best of all it’s right around the corner to Waikiki’s beautiful beach. If you want to go last minute shopping, day no more! Everything is within walking distance! Need to go to the beach and didn’t pack an umbrella or beach chairs, no problem, they provide all the essentials! I will definitely have to stay here again if I decide to come back.

Very central location, easy to get all shops and dining. The Beach was about 10 minute walk away. The free parkin was amazing and definitely should not be overlooked. We were a little frustrated that we had to take out our own trash an clean th dishes.. after paying a $100 cleaning fee. Overall would recommend staying with Niko.

This place was exactly as described. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed and some. Niko described in-detail the check in process. That was great, made check in easy. I appreciated the parking space. It was in a good location. Being on the 16th floor, that winds blew through the lanai door and it was wonderful. The view is amazing. The mountains on one side and views of the ocean on the other.

A great space in a very central location. We loved being within a 5 minute walking distance to everything, so convenient. The apartment was comfortable, very clean and extremely good value. The air con worked a treat and the bed was really comfy to sleep on. All in all, we loved using this apartment as our base for 2 weeks on Oahu. Would totally stay again :)

Great location. But the apartment building is quite old and the apartment is not as stylish as the picture shows. It’s a good choice for travelers with a tight budget.

I had a fantastic stay! Nikodem and the team were very prompt whenever I emailed them with questions and very helpful. The process of checking in and out were easy. The unit was clean and decorated simply and the kitchen and bathroom seemed like it was remodeled fairly recently, so the unit was modern and cozy. While this wasn't a problem for me as I'm a city person and don't mind noise, this building is in the heart of Waikiki and very close to shopping centers and so it can sometimes get a bit noisy outside with vehicles and people out and about. The location was incredible, I could walk anywhere and within 5-10 minutes I could be eating or shopping or at the beach. I especially loved that this place included 1 parking spot since I needed a car to get to and from work. Overall it was a lovely place and I would definitely stay here again.

Great studio in the heart of Waikiki. Easy, included, in and out parking with an assigned space. Unit is on the 4th floor right above the parking with no views. But the location is so fabulous that this was a non-issue. Nikodem responded right away to all communications and check-in and check-out where very easy.

Fantastic location in the best area in Waikiki. Having a parking space was awesome just don’t rent a tall car. Lots of amenities in the apartment. We loved being so close to the nicest part of Waikiki with heaps of great restaurants and shops.

Great location. Dedicated parking spot was absolutely wonderful. Step by step check in instruction was accurate and helpful. Street noise was heard every night, but I knew going in as it was disclosed on the info page. However, it's nothing like NYC and I slept well with a white noise machine. Overall, I had a great time.

This place was amazing! Nearby all the restaurants, shopping and bars/clubs. I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday to come to Hawaii and everything is what we expected. The host was very easy to reach and the condo has everything you need. My bf is a little bit of a picky eater so the kitchen and amenities was just perfect. Went to a local market and bought groceries and saved a ton of money on food. Free parking was a huge plus for us as we wanted to travel around the island. Only issue was a nearby neighbor took our spot, but if you let them know nicely they’ll move it right away. That’s probably the only issue we had. The place was very quiet. The noise outside didn’t bother us at all since we are heavy sleepers anyway! Awesome trip and awesome stay!!

Great location and loved having a parking spot in the heart of Waikiki. Host provided beach chairs and umbrella which really came in handy. It was noisy at night, but that was in description of place. After first night we were use to it and it doesn’t last too late. We booked same day and had no problems. This place is a good value and we appreciated instant booking. Mahalo!

The unit is centrally located and is just a short walk to the beach and other restaurants and shops. The free parking is a great extra as we had a rental car. The unit also has beach chairs and extra towels. Overall if you're staying in Waikiki this unit is a great place to stay and a good value and I would recommend it.

Great place! If you’re spending several days in hawaii or just a few nights, it’s a solid base of operations that’s clean, accessible, and comfortable! Thank you Nico! Only things: low roofed garage with tight turns, make sure ur not using an SUV or that your car is too heavy, you can scrape your undercarriage! Mattress is a full sized, not queen, but comfortable and clean! Looking forward to staying there again!

Nikodem was an excellent host. Communication was prompt and efficient. Everything was spelled out and clear, not only prior to check-in, but the entire process all the way up until check-out. Parking was an awesome addition and was exactly as every other parking lot on the island was. The extras included in the unit (beach chairs, beach towels, bodyboard, etc.) were great to have as an option. I reserved as a last minute rental and Nikodem went out of his way to accommodate! Five Stars!

Nikodem’s place is a gem for amazing value. I was able to book the studio within the day of my arrival and once I did, he was very quick to contact us and tell us what we needed to know. Communication is important and he is very good at it. The location of this studio is right in Waikiki with everything within walking distance. Did I mention FREE PARKING? Don’t underestimate this perk because it’s a necessity when visiting Waikiki. I did have a little bit of trouble finding the parking because the ramp up to the lot is narrow and I initially thought it was just a one way exit. The studio itself is equipped with a full kitchen, huge tv, comfy bed, bathroom, and everything else you need. He even provides you with beach chairs, boogie boards, towels and beach towels. The only con that would be an issue for some, is that when it’s night time, it could be loud outside. Not a problem for me, but light sleepers, you might want to bring some ear plugs! Otherwise, you may have trouble sleeping. That being said, we slept like babies. A+!! Would definitely book with you again. Hope to meet you in person. Thank you.

The location is good. Not right next to the beach but not far either. Very close to everything. It's just the noise is too loud from the street. You need earplugs if you have trouble sleeping with sound. The overall experience is great, will be better if you book in advance to get cheaper rates.

The studio apartment was very conveniently located and we enjoyed having the free parking space, although the space was a bit tight for our four-door Nissan sedan. We also appreciated that the studio was fully equipped with blow dryer, towels, iron, pots and pans, water boiler, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay for the value.

Nikodem’s place is clean, comfortable and very central. We pretty much walked everywhere to eat, shop and relax on the beach. Was also nice to have a free parking spot, especially given the lack of them in waikiki. Nikodem was also very responsive. We forgot our keys in the room one night, so we let him know. He placed an extra set of keys for us to retrieve from the mailbox right away. Only thing that was a bit bothersome was the noise from the street, but this is to be expected as we were right smack in the middle of all the action.

I agree with the other reviews that you need earplugs if you are a light sleeper. But the location beats (Website hidden by Airbnb) is like the "times square" in Waikiki. We literally did not touch the kitchen. There are so many good restaurants in the walking distance. No hassle for check in/out for us at all. Thanks

Very central location in Waikiki. Host warned us about noise but luckily we didn't find it an issue at all. Appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs too! Apartment was simple but clean and had everything we needed for a short stay.

The best value about this Airbnb is the parking spot that's included with the reservation! It's in a safe garage and requires a fob to enter. The location was great as well. It's a short walk to Waikiki beach and our favorite part is it's one block from Marukame Udon! The host also had snorkel sets, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella available for use. It does get quite noisy in the evening but luckily it didn't bother us much since we had earplugs with us. Overall great stay!

Niko and Agnes were very responsive and easy to communicate with. They've done a nice job fixing up the rooms. Lots of amenities and cleaning supplies provided. The room also provided beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, which come in handy since the beach is only 2 blocks away. The room has a full size fridge, toaster, coffee pot, microwave and comfy beds. I slept in the hid abed and it was real comfortable. FREE PARKING is a big bonus, trust me! They also have a basic clean swimming pool, trash drops located on the floor and washer and dryers. GREAT LOCATION great because across the street is Ross, which is a pick-up location for bus tours, pearl harbor tour, and luaus. Lots of restraunts, stores, and shops close by. I'm very satisfied with our experience and stay here. I will return if I come back to Waikiki.

This space was better than expected. The hosts were kind enough to let us check in early as our flight arrived much earlier than originally planned, which was great. The space was clean, had a beautiful city view, and was comfortable. We all slept well every night, even those of us on the pull out couch! The best part was that there were beach items such as towels and chairs in the apartment - we had packed our own, but in the future we could leave that extra space open in our luggage which is a plus! We also loved how close we were to everything. Overall a great stay.

The good: The location is amazing and also has free parking (very rare in Waikiki). Home comes with plenty of towels and beach gear. Minor issue: There were some issues getting into the unit due to miscommunication. I received check-in instructions that were for a different unit. Long story short, it delayed our check-in for about 30 minutes. Host seems busy, communication was a bit difficult. The bad: If you are a light sleeper, this may not be for you. It is loud from 10pm-2am and then again from 3am-4/5am due to the party goers and you will hear motorcycles and emergency vehicles all day. Also the fridge needs to be replaced or fixed as it constantly makes noises. Other than the loud noise and being so tired from lack of sleep, we enjoyed the fact that it was so close to everything. This place is worth it if you absolutely want to be in Waikiki and have a rental car. Just bring some ear plugs :)

Nikodem’s apartment is in a great location close to everything. The building is nice. The apartment is comfortable with an adequate little kitchen for cooking a breakfast. With so much eating choices in Waikiki why cook? Sometimes breakfast is faster at home than waiting in line somewhere. The apartment has everything you need for a visit to Waikiki. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Nikodem’s apartment.

Niko’s studio is perfect place really in the heart of Waikiki. In a minute you are in restaurant, bar or local shop. Waikiki beaches are close and also included parking spot helps you a lot! Studio is big enough for four people, very clean and well equiped. I can really recommend it!

I stayed for 4 nights for a business trip. It was perfect, with free, secure parking, convenient location, and everything I needed for business accommodations. It would be great for an inexpensive vacation stay too. While not a resort, there are beach supplies in the closet, and it is close to the beach, in the heart of Waikiki.

Nice location, clean and easy to get in/out. Only thing is that the local music downstairs is a bit loud at night. But that is what you get being at the center of Waikiki.

The apartment has a great lanai to enjoy the breeze, but it does get loud. Parking is a bonus in the area because it is quite expensive to park around. Close to shopping malls, eateries, 10 minutes walk to the beach.

Niko’s studio is very centrally located in Waikiki beach. Steps away from beach, shops, restaurants in Waikiki. The studio was spotless clean and thoughtfully decorated. Had a great stay at his studio. Would def come back when visiting next time.

11월 넷째주 여행을 하였습니다. 여행을 하면서 가장 크게 중요했던 것은 위치였습니다. 와이키키 해변과 인접해 있어서 접근성이 매우 좋았고, 지하 주차장 또한 상시 사용할 수 있어서 더할나위없이 좋았습니다. 에어콘의 경우 신형 에어콘이 있었는데, 11월 이후의 기후에서는 사용할 일이 전무합니다. 와이키키의 신선한 공기가 항시 들어오고, 저녁에는 오히려 추워서 이불을 덮고 자야합니다. 주방의 경우 사진에 보여진것과 다르게 식기의 상태가 좋지 않습니다. 한국에서 흔히 사용하는 코팅 후라이팬이 없어서 식사를 하는것에 있어 조금 애로사항이 있었고, 젓가락이 없어서 인근 마트에서 구입해서 사용했습니다. 이점은 호스트에게 요청했으니, 추후 후기를 살피면서 선택하면 되리라 생각합니다. 샤워장의 경우 사진에 보이는것과 같은데, 샤워장이라기 보다 집에 욕조가 있다고 생각하는것이 좋습니다. 사워는 욕조에서만 해야하고, 커튼을 사용하지 않으면 물이 바닥에 흥건히 젖게 되는데, 욕실에 따로 배수시설이 갖춰지지 않아서 커튼을 사용하지 않으면 안되는 구조였습니다. 아울러 사워타월 및 비치타월은 충분히 구비되어 있지만, 일반 수건은 준비되어 있지 않아 여행전 미리 구비하시면 좋을것 같습니다. 그 밖에 비치에서 사용할 수 있는 비치의자, 수경 및 바디보드 등이 갖춰져 있어 좋았고, 위치, 주차는 와이키키 중심이여서 더할나위 없이 좋았던것 같습니다. 위 사항들을 미리 알고 가신다면 가성비 측면에서 매우 좋은 숙소임이 틀림이 없습니다.

쇼핑하고 먹고 놀기에 최고의 장소였습니다 신혼부부보다는 친구나 연인끼리 가볍게 놀러오기 좋습니다. 무료 주차장도 있어서 렌트카 주차도 편하지만 주차장 천장이 낮기때문에 조심해야합니다. 호스트들과도 연락이 빠르고 조금 이른 체크인에도 친절했습니다. 빨래방이 있지만 세제가 없으니 근처 다른 빨래방에서 사거나 가져오시면 될것 같습니다. 에어컨 소리가 커서 밤에 예민하신 분들은 끄고 자야 합니다.

Very nice space with a balcony view of the area and nice places to walk around and eat at (wife and I loved Marukame Udon nearby!). Beach was within about 10 minutes walk as well. Just make sure to read the instructions very carefully because the building environment can be confusing (e.g. parking spots aren't numbered well so really read the info to find it). We had a Hyundai Accent rental car and had no problems going around the island from there. If there was a car on both sides of the parking spot though, I don't know how I would have parked the car due to tight spacing of the parking garage, so just beware if bringing a larger vehicle. Also, the machine to put money on the laundry card only took cash bills (no coins) during our stay. If I remember correctly, washer was about $1.75/load and dryer was $1.25/load. Overall, it was a great space and location to be at, definitely recommend it to others.

got an email from niko saying that they accidentally double booked this specific unit so they moved me to another unit lower floor but identical to the one in picture only difference was color sheets etc but furniture and everything else pretty much the same. actually i think the one they gave e was a bit nicer. overall it worked out and he kept in contact with me through out the stay and made sure everything was good. no complaints definitely recommend this place to anyone great location great price and parking included a+

Nikodem is great host and the place is amazing. Right in the heart of Waikiki, very good location both for car (Nikodem provides place in the private parking) and public transport (19/20 bus stop to/from airport right in front of the building). Place has everything you will need for a comfortable stay: beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, conditioner, wifi, lovely balcony. Nikodem is very welcoming and happy to suggest lots of places nearby.

It is clean and has good views, and accessibility of neighboring facilities is good. Host's answer is also accurate and fast. It is strongly recommended.

If your looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay in Waikiki this is it! We enjoyed are stay here. Bonuses were the air con and parking!!

Perfect place and very clean

This unit was exactly as described in the listing, and is in a perfect location - right in the heart of Waikiki and walking distance from tons of great restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Parking included in the cost was a major plus, too - it runs about $30/night or more at most nearby garages. As it says in the listing, if you’re looking for a full-service beachfront room with a view, this may not be for you, but if you’re mainly interested in somewhere without all the fluffy amenities and with easy access to what Waikiki has to offer, this unit is exactly that. Extra towels and linens were available which was nice for a longer trip, and there’s a card-operated laundry machine on each floor of the building which we used, too.

If you want to be in the heart of Waikiki, this is the place to be. Niko and his team are great. We booked this place with less than a 24 hour notice and it worked out perfectly. Stay here, you wont regret it.

Perfect location at a great price. It's on a lower floor with no view, but also no wait for elevators, which are notoriously slow in waikiki. A hotel in the same area with the a parking spot would cost at least $100 more per night.

Great spacious place to stay. Nice balcony with shade in the afternoon. A little noisy - but you are in the middle of everything.. Nice facilities, great with free parking. Bed is a little small. Good communication and flexible staff. We would definitely come back

Very nice little efficiency. Would be good for one of two people. Very nice to have the use a full kitchen that included microwave, stove refrigerator. Also nice to have the use of the laundry room. The other comments about the parking space being small is true. If you use the space make sure you have a small car. This is in a nice area and you can walk to most places.

This is a great location just in the heart of Waikiki and comes with free parking which is a big bonus. Agnes was such a great host and she goes above and beyond when I dropped my passport in the parking lot and she called me right away when she saw it. The unit alone is great, very clean, lots of space and great view. I would stay here again when Im back in the island.

Location is really perfect. Mcdonalds right downstairs for coffee and EASY walking to all the shopping and beautiful beaches and restaurants. Parking easy as well. Location is in the heart of the city, so there was loud music and whooping from an establishment right downstairs every night until late hours. We got little to no sleep with our baby- might be better for people with no kids/ heavy sleepers, but otherwise we had a great stay. Mahalo!

niko的房子真的不错,位置特别好,出大门右拐走一两分钟就是热闹的商业街,一条街上很多商店,很多餐馆,晚上有很多街头表演,特别热闹,很方便,离wakiki也很近,楼下的便利店,斜对面的ross都能满足日常所需!房间很温馨,和图片上一摸一样,12楼比较安静,床不算很大,两个人睡可以,但是床垫超级软,有点不适应,老公后来都是睡沙发,卫生间空间还可以,就是不太通风,没有排风扇,浴室里提供洗发水和沐浴乳,洗衣服在楼层的洗衣房里,需要拿房东提供的卡到一楼服务台充值,但是需要自己准备好洗衣液,ABC STORE没得卖,最近只有到希尔顿酒店下面的罗森便利店买一块钱一盒的汰渍洗衣粉!房间里有两张躺椅和遮阳伞,还提供好几块沙滩巾和普通毛巾,真的是太棒了,岛沙滩去,有躺椅和遮阳伞超级舒服,如果再有浮板或者救生圈就好了!公寓的位置和钥匙拿取等的信息,niko讲的很详细,哪怕第一次去,也很轻松能入住,而且有停车位真的很棒!一开始预定的是六楼,后来niko希望我换成12楼,我同意了,感觉楼层高一点更安静!值得入住!

Great location. Roomy enough for family of 4. Parking a bonus, but easy walking distance to everything. Equipped with the basics. Washing machine not in the room but close by and never busy. Overall a nice place that we would happily book again.

We appreciated the place, Really good location for the shops, restaurants and beach but it was very noisy at night with kalakaua avenue just Down and the air conditioning too. I wake up many times during the night with the noise of the trucks, car, music and motorbikes in kalakaua avenue. The bed was a little small for two. Good for the parking/ wifi and location.

Didn't realize that you had to keep the room in clean condition until last day. Also, your right in a busy area which is convenient but not so much if you're a light sleeper. If you decide to rent a car and want to enjoy everything Waikiki has to offer I highly recommend this location. Location is in the heart of wakiki and walking distance to everything. Parking spot is easy to access. Only issue is that the bed is incredibly hard and the tv cable is very slow!

We enjoyed having a kitchen and being able to stock it for our stay. Parking is secure and private. I highly recommend staying here! Cannot wait to return in the near future.

This unit is in a perfect position in the heart of Waikiki with many attractions, restaurants etc only a short walk away. It was great having your own kitchen if only to make a coffee and some toast plus I enjoyed having a cold beverage on the balcony whilst taking in the views. I have stayed in Waikiki hotels many times however I would highly recommend this Airbnb unit.

Check in was super easy, Niko's instructions were exact and easy to follow. The apartment was exactly as pictured, clean and tidy, with a fridge and kitchen for cooking, free internet and cable TV. Had a decent view from the lanai out to the water and hillside. Aircon was great and whisper quiet. The location is fantastic, walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping and with the added bonus of a car park if you have a rental car. We also met many lovely people who lived in the apartment complex whilst riding the elevators, not something we are used to living in suburbia back home. I would note that Waikiki is very busy all through the day and night, if you are a light sleeper you'll need some earplugs to sleep. I think it adds to the atmosphere though. I would stay there again if I have the chance.

Nikodem is responsive and helped me and my friend into his place without a problem even when we showed up close to midnight! The place is in an amazing location, very safe, and clean. Would recommend and stay again!

From the moment we made the booking to the moment we checked out we were made feel that our host was very appreciative of us choosing to stay at one of their locations. Communication was excellent, they did their best to organise an early check-in (which was great because our plane landed at 6.30am) and the instructions for gaining access to the room were perfect. The room was clean and tidy. The building facilities (pool, laundry, etc) were also spot-on. The location is also perfect with easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops and also easy access to the buses. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The location is great, right in the centre of the everything. Really short walk to the beach, shopping malls and lots of restaurants. What I also loved is the free parking, Niko's direction was really clear on how to find the car park and how to do self check in. He was also really helpful and efficient when we need some more sheets for the sofa bed. I would recommend this if you are looking for a good location and a convenient stay in the city.

Excellent central location in Waikiki across from Ross and Jamba Juice with one dedicated free parking space. Interior pictures are accurate and bed and sofa bed are comfortable. Close to shopping center with free live Hawaiian music. You can see the Hilton every friday 7:45 pm fireworks from the lanai but from a distance above other buildings. We would definitely stay again if we need to be in Waikiki.

Nikodem's studio apartment at Marine Surf Waikiki is perfect for a vacation in Honolulu. It is just a few blocks' walk to many shops and restaurants. Waikiki Beach is also just a five-minute walk away. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Nikodem was always available if we needed help. As described for the most part, with some discrepancies. Snorkeling gear was unclean and the fin was too small to use. Pricing matches that of a mid level hotel - pros are convenient parking, no tips, and kitchen. Cons are unusable snorkeling gear, pages and pages of private contract to read/sign.

Niko's place was great. Just a block to the famous Waikiki Beach. All the shops and restaurant is door step. First floor has seafood restaurant. Nice room with kitchen with all the necessary items and spices.. We had a problem with Wifi but he fixed it right a way otherwise across from this condo is Hyatt, you can catch there free Wifi. Free parking is plus. Nomally public parking around Waikiki is $15~ and up so this was good. Actually you don't have to have a car as long as you stay around Waikiki area. Public transportation is right across from his place. Easy access to everywhere. I usually stay at hotel but I would love to come back to his place again. Mahalo

This place was hands down better than the pictures and other reviews, the place was clean, bathroom amenities included, good balcony is good but, a bit noise during the morning due to construction yet a good way to get up to start the day in paradise. This place comes with snorkel gear, boogie board, beach chairs, towels so no need to pay for rental of anything at the beach. The beach is only 2 blocks away, bars & restaurants are located on either direction and the restaurant downstairs is good for fresh seafood. I wouldn't think twice about getting this place for our next stay, the location is convenient and the Uber/Lyft ride to the airport is about $35. Niko was great, easy to get a hold of and attentive.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikodem's place. It was a very good location, centrally located, close to the beach (~5 minute walk). The apartment itself was lovely, full of light, extremely clean. It was easy to find, the directions were great and easy to get into. Niko was very responsive and answered all of our questions expeditiously. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly stay here again if we are ever back in Waikiki!!

After two nights of c(r)amping we were despirate to find a nice comfortable place to stay in Waikiki. And we definitely found that! We put in a last minute request for a three night stay in the morning and recieved a confirmation very shortly after. We arrived at the place which is amazing! The place smelt clean when we walked in (and was actually clean as well). It is very spacious (it has an area to sit as well as a bed and a kitchen), has a nice view of town and had everything we needed. The host called before arrival to make sure we were all set to go and was very communicative. I would recommend everyone to book this appartment.

Apartment was in a great location with parking and super restaurant below. Only disappointment was having to unpack the dishwasher from previous guests in order to find the dinner plates and the city noise is Very loud all night.

The apartment itself was great. It was EXACTLY as pictured. The only negatives we had were that we paid a $100 cleaning fee and then were instructed to clean a lot of the apartment ourselves before leaving...? I've used Airbnb quite a bit and that was a first. What's the fee for? Also, the wifi never worked. The wifi name given to us was not listed to actually connect to. We had to connect to someone else's wifi. Which was problematic because my friend had homework to complete. Other than that, it was great. We sat out on the balcony for hours at night and early in the morning. It was close to everything downtown, so we walked everywhere! Awesome good located close by. Overall it was a good stay, just a few hiccups.

The apartment was a-m-z-i-n-g! It is located in the best place- right at the center of Waikiki, close to the beach and to the main streets and I felt very safe. The apartment had everything I needed- from full kitchen equipment, to AC and even an iron :) It is beautifully decorated , was super clean and felt new. Last but not least- Niko- such a wonderful host! Very sweet, answered in no time to all the questions I had, and helped me with everything I needed- I felt very grateful for all his help. I definitely recommend staying there.

The spartment is well decorated as shown in picture. The location is very good. there are beach staf prepared in the room like beach chair and boogie board, which is very useful. Free parking is really good. Check in is easy. Most bother me is noise. some other feedback also mentioned this problem. When I stay there personally, I found it's really noisy to me. The background noise is from other building roof top cooling machine, bus, motor etc. The window can block the noise a little, but really not enough. Strong suggest owner find away to solve it, add one more layer window for instance. Noise tolerance level is different to each person. For me, it's difficult to accept. There are bugs in the room. I pat several. Hope deinsectization.

From the point of booking, everything was communicated clearly. After being on a carrier for a long time, I wanted to veg out in a place that had the comforts of home and close to everything. That is exactly what I got in Nikodem's place. Although I didn't meet Nikodem, the instructions he gives you are very detailed and very accurate on what you need to do regarding the apartment. The images were exactly as shown with the exception that this unit also has a comfy couch too, I was told it made it late to the photo shoot. But the unit is spacious and very clean. The bed was a bit on the firm side. Neighborhood is ideal. You walk in one direction there are a strip of bars, you walk in another direction and there is a strip of shopping centers and restaurants. You can hear the party goers a night but it didn't bother me, I just watched and laughed from the balcony. Over all a good experience :-)

The check in process was simple and smooth. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures on Airbnb. The location is idea - a few blocks away from Waikiki Beach and from the hotel where my conference was held (Hilton Hawaiian). There are dozens of restaurants - all rated very highly, in the local area. And if you are into high-end shopping...all the big name stores are only 2-3 blocks away. We walked to Diamond Head and to Chinatown (note, you must be used to long walks!). The free parking space is a HUGE savings to anyone renting this Airbnb. Guess what: there is a STARBUCKS literally steps away - right across the street. For those of you needing groceries, there are many ABC Stores nearby that have all the essentials. The internet connectivity was very fast. Best kept secret - one of the best restaurants on Oahu is right next door: Heavenly. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - the restaurant is a great place to hang out with coffee table books and art adorning its walls. There is a washer and dryer on the same floor and it only costs $2.50 to wash and dry a load. I highly recommend this host and this condo. He has other units available if this one is not available. He has 3 other colleagues to contact if Nikodem is not available.

This was our first Airbnb stay and it was a great experience. The studio was exactly as described. Niko provided excellent instructions to access the studio and it was a breeze to check in. The location was so close to shopping, restaurants and the beach that we hardly used the car we rented. The space was clean and stocked with plenty of amenities, especially beach equipment. It's a great studio that I would definitely recommend to others.

Steph and I enjoyed a stay at Nikodem's studio in central Waikiki. Checking in and out was a breeze. While we arrived early and check-in wasn't until the afternoon, he let us to park in their dedicated spot and we explored the area while the studio was prepped for us. The studio was comfortable and secure, and the location couldn't be better if you want to stay in Waikiki. There are a variety of restaurants and bars nearby to suit anyone and any occasion.

The place itself is clean,secure,safe neighbourhood and close to almost everything in Waikiki ! We loved the open lanai and the view, even caught a glimpse of the Hilton fireworks ! ABC stores, Ross and Crackin Kitchen are a minute away and the beach is around 5-10 min walk. All in all, a fantastic stay ! Loved every bit of the apartment and the stay !

This was my first time using AirBnB and I had a very positive experience from it. I did not get to meet Niko but he made sure that everything was well taken care for my arrival. The place is in a such great location and the fact that free parking is included is a BIG plus. Niko also left things such as towels, bags, umbrellas, coolers, chairs and boards to be used at the beach, which is very helpful and convenient. The building is also pretty safe since you can only use and access the elevators with the use of a key fob. This is a great place for anyone looking for a good place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We checked in as they were finishing up cleaning the room. We were met in the lobby and given the keys for parking and our suite. The room was exactly as described, very close proximity to the beach, boardwalk and the Royal Hawaiian for brunch. YUM! There were plenty of towels, the suite was clean and the perfect size for the 2 of us. We would definitely return and consider staying here with our 5 year old (there is a pull out bed in the sofa). Parking in Waikiki is crazy so having that included is a great bonus. The parking garage has a maximum height of 6'2" so if you are renting an SUV or larger vehicle you might want to double check the dimensions of the vehicle. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. Literally.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a short staycation. The Tropical Studio was very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Nikodem was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Its a simple place with just enough space for two.

This place wasn't bad. Couple blocks from the beach and shopping centers. Loved the fact it had free parking but the place was pretty small, perfect for us because we were barely in the the room, only to sleep. Never met Niko but answers my questions when needed. Also we were able to check in early since we arrived in Hawaii earlier than expected. ☺️

Nikodem was an excellent host and very communicative with us. He helped us get the best deals :). Our studio condo was beautiful with a great kitchen, nice clean bathroom, bed and pull out couch, parking and the location was awesome for Waikiki . We were provided wonderful beach items, towels, chairs, boggy board, umbrella and cooler. We used these when we travel around the Island. It was a little noisy at times, as Waikiki has a lot of construction going on. We would stay here again. PS: We had 4 adults stay here and it worked great, plus it has a lanai, which was great to sitting and drinking a morning coffee or a glass of wine after a great day of adventures!

Great place. Central to Waikiki with everything walking distance. Great places to eat right at the ground floor. The place was clean and had a pretty nice view of diamondhead.

I'll write this review with both pros and cons of my experience. Pros: Tropical Studios is a very ideal location when visiting Waikiki. Niko's place provided a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, AC unit etc. Supplies in the closet for snorkeling, beach towels, chairs, etc were all there as well so that's really convenient. Free parking is also a sweet bonus. Cons: When arriving, if the hosts are unable to meet you there, you'll have to get the key in the mailbox on floor 1, which can be challenging if you're driving and by yourself as parking in the area is really limited. The bed is right next to the lanai. The sliding door is not sound proof and it gets extremely noisy in the city in all times of the day. Construction was also going on in the building over. Perhaps a higher floor in this building would be better than our 6th floor. Parking lot/spot is also small so if your rental is a larger car and your parking skills isn't great, this can be a challenge. I recommend renting smaller cars for this airbnb. The building is old and there is a pest problem. The kitchen had cockroaches. We saw many during our stay. I would not leave any food around or leave anything near the area. If you're afraid of bugs... I highly recommend discussing with Niko and owners if pest control was called in. Overall the stay was comfortable and it's a great location and price to pass up.

Perfeckt location ! It's exactly what you see in the pictures. Beach equitments and fully stored kitchen. Parking in the same building is a huge plus. Everything is easy. Apt.is on the 4'th floor .We did not meet Nico but he responded quick on every request . We would defenetly stay with him again!

Great location. Equipped with everything you may need for living it relaxing on the beach.

We have stayed in many Airbnb properties around the world and unfortunately, this apartment is the one and only time we didn't enjoy our stay as much as we have liked. * We have requested a cot for our baby but unfortunately on arrival, the cot was not in the apartment. We contacted Niko and he advised it was a human error and cannot deliver one to us until the next day. * The wifi at the apartment was not available throughout our stay. It was only on the third day Niko was able to find a wireless hotspot modem for us to use. The speed of this was incredibly slow. * Lastly, noise insulation at the apartment is virtually zero. The apartment is not completed sealed as there is a wooden section facing the street opened up. You can hear all the noise from the nightclubs till around 1am (later if it is the weekend) and construction work across the road at the Trade Centre at 6am even on the weekends. We had absolutely no sleep even with earplugs. Niko advised there were no other rooms for us to move into and moving into another property was too late by the time we checked in as the hotels around us were fully booked. Niko did provide a small compensation for our experience but we rather avoided it all together and actually enjoy Honolulu rather than be sleep deprived. This is the second time we have visited Honolulu and will definitely look to stay at another property if we come back again.

The location was convenient and awesome. Apartment was as described and presented in the photos. The whole experience was perfect.

We only stayed one night. Arriving we were a bit confused on parking and couldn't get ahold of anyone but to be fair we were a little early. Eventually we got into our room around 330. It looks exactly like the photos and was clean and had everything we needed. Our event was just down the street at the Sheraton so the location was perfect. If I was visiting Waikiki and needed a longer stay I would definitely choose this again.

Niko is a pro. He was super responsive, took great care of us, and his studio is ideally located in Waikiki WITH parking. The place was spotless, had a fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of linens. There was a beach cooler bag and boogie board in the closet! Way, way better than a hotel!

We can highly recommend Nikodem's Tropical Studio in Waikiki. It is bright and clean, exactly as shown. The location is very safe and convenient, only a block from Kalakaua, the main Waikiki shopping street. A big plus is that a safe parking place is included with the rental. Terry (the lady that takes care of the studio) was extremely helpful to us at check-in. We had a great time and would not hesitate to book it again.

My host was very helpful in spite my needing a place so last minute. I even tried calling and texting them very late, something like 2 or 3am. They were understanding and still tried their best to get me as early a check in as possible. The location was very convenient and close to everything.

Great place and location. Free parking was a big plus since a lot of places charge about $10-20 a night but we didn't use our rental as much as we thought because a lot of things were within walking distance. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal if you plan on eating in. The supplied beach chairs and umbrella helped us stay cool when we were on the beach for hours. The only con that I can think of is that the balcony is basically useless if the unit above is using their AC unit. The water from the unit drips down and hits the balcony railing which splashes you wherever you are standing. It would be nice if there was some kind of railing that guided the AC water away from the balcony. Overall it was a great place to stay.

This location was PERFECT for what we needed. We were here to attend a wedding at the Moana Surfrider and it was less than 5 mins walking distance. The room was very clean and I really appreciated all the beach gear that was supplied. I like how the building locks its doors to the public during evening hours, allowing only its guests to gain access. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about the room, the building or its location.

We were only on Oahu over night before flying on to the big island, so didn't spend much time at this condo, but it was very clean and convenient. It's in a great location central to everything in Waikiki. It was extremely helpful to have free parking - I don't know what we would have done without the parking spot in the building's parking garage. Niko was very helpful, and contacted us twice to make sure we had everything we needed. He was a great host!

Close to beaches and shops less than 5 minute walk. Room was clean and tidy and kitchen had all you needed if you felt like cooking. Perfect for 2 or 3 people. Roberts Hawaii pickup for tours right across the road. Food pantry (better than ABC Store) was two blocks up Kuhio towards the Zoo end of Waikiki. You can buy a good supply of food for brekky, lunch and dinner here if you dont want to eat out all of the time. The fridge in the room is large. We would stay there again.

The apartment looks just like the picture. There is a nice view of the city from the roomy lanai with the smallest peak of the ocean. The building is very nice and clean. I liked the neighborhood which while touristy is full of good restaurants. It was great that beach towels, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and sunscreen were provided. Also the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked which made everything more homey.

Didn't get a chance to meet Niko but checking in and out was very easy. Everyone at the resort were very helpful. Parking was great! And the location was awesome!

Aloha. My children and I really enjoyed our stay at the studio apartment. The apt was very clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, we did not really need to bring anything. The apt even has beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler. Wifi was a bonus. Air conditioning perfect. The host thought of everything. I was able to reach the host when needed no problem. Trust me don't bring anything extra he has it all. Loved having a parking space which would cost you daily at a hotel. The building is very clean and very quiet. Centrally located in Waikiki walking distance to main shopping strip (around the corner). 5 minute walk to the beach. All types of food near by. Trust me you'll love it. The Surf Mariner is right next to the terrible tourism zones of Waikiki, but also right next to a beautiful cafe and a lovely walk along the water. The room was smallish and the sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was clean and air conditioned. We were late getting in touch with Niko and he was very responsive. Pro Tip: The towels are in the white cupboard to the left of the bathroom. We had a hard time finding them! :P

Great location, I have voiced my opinions about needing a dead lock but you have said you are getting digital keypad so that solves that I suppose. Also a better lock ins the balcony door. Amount of towels and beach things to use was great!

On my arrival to Oahu, I was easily able to contact Niko and arrange to get the key slightly earlier. The apartment is exactly how it's described and very homely. it's location is perfect and close to everything you might need. The bonus is the car space as its not easy to find street parking and the paid car parks are expensive....hire a car to see everything. I had only one problem during my 12 day stay and that was the bed, the leg was unstable, Niko came and gave it a creative solution so that the bed was useable for the rest of my stay. overall the apartment building is safe and secure, neighbours are friendly and the only noise comes from the street and bars......if you're a light sleeper your might need earplugs but it didn't bother me. Great accommodation, I will return and stay here again most definitely! Mahalo

My two companions and I had a great stay at this condo. The location was spectacular, located in the center of waikiki, and only minutes from the beach. The description was accurate. It was clean and organized and was just enough room for 3 people. We even woke up early to watch The Falcons at 7am, and we expected to go to a restaurant to watch it, but he had it on his TV! What a nice surprise. Niko was friendly, and very timely with this booking, as we booked it 2 hours before we checked in, which was made very convenient for us. We would definitely recommend this place to other fellow travellers.

Unfortunately we did not meet Niko face to face, but our phone interactions with him were above board. We needed to check out late at the last minute and Niko and his team were very accommodating to us. The room was PERFECT!!! Exactly as pictured and Waikiki Beach is one block away. The room's amenities were perfect for my family and myself and we will definitely stay here again in the future.

Location can't be beat! We were in walking distance to almost everything in Waikiki. The studio was also well stocked with toiletries, beach equipment, and kitchenware. Nikodem was also a great host and was always available for all of our questions. I also loved that we had our own parking spot!

The studio is just as described by other reviewers, bright, modern, very clean with a great small balcony. The free parking and rooftop pool was just a cherry on the Sunday. Great apartment VERY close to the beach and all the main areas in Waikiki. I spent a week at a resort in Waikiki prior to my rental here, and wish we stayed the entire time here instead! Everything you would need for two people.

The apartment was much as described and shown in the picture. Ultimate location at central Waikiki and the parking is benefit. Will try to be back as soon as we can.

Stayed here for two nights in June 2014. We were in town for a wedding in North Shore, and decided to arrive a few days early and stay in Waikiki to enjoy a broader selection of food/shopping. The location of this studio is pretty much perfect. It's within very short walking distance to everything you need (beach, shopping, restaurants, bars), and right in the heart of Waikiki. Another big selling point is that there is a parking spot included. Keep in mind that parking in any hotels in Waikiki area is typically >$25 per day (often without in/out privileges). So if you are planning on renting a car and checking out more of the island, while having an operating home base in the middle of Waikiki, this is pretty much as ideal as it gets. As far as the overall quality of the room, we found it clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious. Absolutely no complaints. Considering location, parking space, and price, this place can't be beat.

What a wonderful Tropical Studio #607! Everything in the studio was very modern and clean. We appreciated the air conditioning which kept the temperature ideal for sleeping. The queen-size bed was very comfortable, along with the sheets and pillows. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and having a view of the city and the people and shops below us. The bathroom had a shower with good water pressure. The lighting was somewhat dim while in the shower, but the shampoo and conditioner and body wash provided was wonderful. There were plenty of towels as well. We did not use the kitchen, but it had everything that would be needed for cooking and cleaning. We used the beach mats and umbrella. There were also beach chairs and snorkeling gear provided. It took us about ten minutes to walk from the studio to Waikiki beach, passing the shopping outlets and hotels on our way. Waikiki beach has a few different sandy areas to choose from, and we loved swimming in the water there and watching the surfers. There are so many eating options close to the studio. We ate at Eggs 'N Things for breakfast, and dinner at The Lovin' Oven, excellent pizza. Honolulu is such a varied city, with different styles of night life and during the day there is a shopping mall and outlets, or all day at the beach and ocean, or nearby Diamond Head or Manoa Falls for outdoor adventures, or touring of historical Pearl Harbor and 'Iolani Palace. We also had a view of the building's pool from the balcony, but didn't make it down to swim there, just at the beach. Nikodem was very responsive through the Airbnb messaging. He was traveling when we arrived, and so we met with one of his colleagues, Terry. She was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were really lucky to check in early. We briefly parked in front of the building and went inside to the lobby to meet Terry. She showed us where to enter for the parking space, and then she went up to the parking gate to let us in while we drove the car to the spot which matched the studio number. WE LOVED HAVING THE PARKING SPOT! It made our visit so much easier and enjoyable, driving around and just outside the city if we wanted, or just parking the car and walking down to Waikiki. I loved everything about this studio. My bf and I spent a night in Honolulu after a week in Maui, and this was the perfect spot to end our vacation in. The location is so key-right by Waikiki beach and all the shopping/restaurants/hotels. We were able to check-in a few hours early, and Niko was extremely helpful with any questions/concerns we had when we arrived. It's a shame we were only able to stay one day, but when we return, we will definitely be staying here again!

Laundry is right on the floor which was very convenient. The building has a pool which we also enjoyed. I highly recommend staying here.

My friend and I loved staying in Nikodem's apartment in Waikiki! I was there for a conference, and it was ideal to be both a 20-minute walk from the convention center and a 20-minute walk from interesting restaurants in less touristy neighborhoods (e.g., South Shore Grill, Uncle Bo's). And, of course, just a block from the beach! The apartment was extremely clean and the place had been recently renovated; it was lovely. Also, Nikodem thought of everything -- beach towels, umbrellas, coffee, basic toiletries, laundry detergent, etc. -- all the details. The bed and the pull-out couch mattress were both very comfortable. The small pool at the apartment building was obviously new and very clean. Nikodem was also a great host. He worked with me when numerous travel delays led to an extremely late arrival. I highly recommend this place, and hope to stay there again one day!

This studio is perfect! The location of this studio is great, can't ask for much more in Waikiki. The beach is just down the street, a lot of shopping, restaurants and general tourist attractions. Plus if you're renting a car parking is free! Niko was great in working with us and he's done an awesome job at accommodating guests by providing many things to make anyones stay a pleasant one. Niko even provides accessories for going to the beach, which was very helpful. I'd recommend this studio to anyone visiting Waikiki.

This place was exactly what my girlfriend and I needed for our Oahu trip. It was a great homebase in Waikiki. Niko was accommodating with our early check-in (not to mention super-nice!) and showed us everything. Wi-Fi was great. The A/C was perfect. You'll also be able get a tan at the pool if the beach is too crowded (but the people watching is too fun to pass up). PS: Check out the musubi shop just down the street across from the Ross!

You really cannot beat the location of this place! Niko really thought of just about everything to make the place like a hotel. Little details like extra movies, a flashlight, coolers, etc were all added to the place. My husband really liked that aspect. Air conditioning, wifi, cable, brand new feel, fridge, stove, and nice bathroom, all add to the ease of the location and overall feel for our vacation. Our only gripe was the front door lock. Had to open and lock the door a certain way otherwise you couldn't get the door open. Niko accommodated us with an early check in and had his friend let us in. So it may have not been communicated to his friend how to open the door. :)

Great first impression of AirBNB overall. Met with Niko on first day to get keys and tour in person. Two blocks from the beach and 1 block from the largest & nicest luxury mall and strip I have ever seen in my life. 20-30 mins from some much less crowded pristine beaches to avoid the Waikiki extreme tourism. This place was beautiful, every single amenity you could ever ask for from stove, oven, A/C, chairs, towels, cooler...etc. Comfy place, great location, we will be back. Thanks Niko!

This place was just as it is in the photos and truly is in the heart of waikiki! All of the airport and snorkeling shuttles even picked us up right at the building.

Niko took time out of his busy schedule, warmly greeted us at check-in, and explained all we needed to know about the rental. The condo itself is updated, clean and cozy. If it was for sale, I'd buy it! Other than a Waikiki hotel right on the beach, you cannot beat this location -- steps away from fantastic shopping, restaurants, coffee, and the beach!

October 7, 2012 My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Nikodem’s studio condo. It is beautifully appointed with everything one needs for great a vacation in Hawaii. It comes equipped with air conditioning, a complete kitchen, full size refrigerator, large flat panel television with Blue Ray DVD player, wireless (wifi) internet, comfortable bed and washer and dryer are available for a nominal fee. There is a pool just for tenants use. There is a veranda/deck that overlooks Waikiki. But, when you shut the sliding glass door it is very quiet. It was completely remodeled in July and is beautifully maintained, so it is essentially a brand new unit. Also, it is only one block from Waikiki Beach. Very important - if you have a car parking is free! Nikodem and his partner Bozena are wonderfully attentive and are very friendly. I highly recommend Nikodem and this vacation rental for any couple who is looking for a comfortable, clean and reasonably priced vacation get away. We give it five stars out of five stars!

Ideal location! Right in the middle of waikiki-close to everything! It was such a perfect place to stay for our vacation. We rented a car and the included parking space was great. Everything was new and updated.Wifi worked perfectly-no issues at all. The studio had everything you needed-even chairs and a cooler were provided for use=) This was my first time using airbnb or any room booking service in general and im happy to say it was an excellent experience.
